Thursday Night @ the Shop

Hi guys,
I just thought I would post as we are at the shop for Kylies ATC Techniques Class. There is a lot of laughter coming from the workroom. The Ladies tonight are playing with fire learning the "soot" technique. Kylie is such a clever girl. I want to share with you the lovely (yes I am bias!) christmas cards I made this evening. They are form the NEW Basic Grey Christmas Card kit and I have made 8 cards in about 1 hour! At least now I feel as if I can say that I have started to prepare for Christmas! Until next time Take Care Maureen

Help a Fellow Flaunter

Dear Fellow Flaunters,

Many of you know our Flaunter Bianca Smart, she regularly attends our "Scrap and Yaps", and is a member of our design team. Last night she and her family survived a fire that destroyed their home and all their possessions. Thankfully her family of 6 are safe and well.

We would like to do something to help Bianca and her family and therefore here at "Scrap It Flaunt It" we are raffling off a $100 voucher, which will be drawn this Saturday 1st of November at the Scrap and Yap, tickets are $1 each. We would love a full house on Saturday night, in dedication to Bianca, and your fee of $10 will be included as part of the donations. Be quick to book in as there are only 9 spaces available. In addition any donations you may wish to make will be passed on to the family.

Susan's Exploding Box

Many of our regular vistors would have seen the exploding box that Maureen and Tina made for the kids class during the holidays. We had a lot of requests for the class for big kids too, so the talented Susan has designed a stunning project for us. The class is on the Sunday the 14th of December and is filling fast, so give us a call to secure your place.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Well, with thanks to our lovely Leonie, we now have a blog page that resembles our shop. Thank you Leonie.

It has been a while since our last post... but we intent to regularly blog from now on! Sometimes it will be waffle and sometimes very important stuff. Mainly we want to keep in touch with our great customers and interact with others of the blogging community.

We have been very busy in our little shop with camp fast approaching and our class schedule filling up. We will be uploading teases of our classes shortly. We have also welcomed Jodi Belton and Leonie Vellander to our team. They join Amy in being our assistants and inspirations.

Opening the shop has been a terrific experience for us and has lead to much personal growth for us all, I think. There is nothing like knowing that when you get to work you will be meeting people who share your passion and get excited over the same things. It can be like Christmas everday here when new product arrives.

We are gearing up for Christmas and can't wait for the arrival of the Basic Grey range of Wassail Christmas papers. Last night we received word that the new Crate Paper ranges will hopefully arrive in store late next week.

Well I think that is all for now
Happy Scrappin
Maureen
