When it comes to taking photos of ourselves (women), we all want to get the most flattering results possible, here are some great tips to help you out…
· Have your subject stand with their shoulders pointing towards the camera.
· By tilting your subject's head you will acheive a more feminine, graceful pose.

ADULT CLASSES

Ladies we love to please you (no we are not your husband’s!!!) with classes that are interesting and invigorating. Let us know what you would like to see in our classes, when you would like them held and the price you would pay for a class. For every suggestion of a valid class idea we will enter you into a draw to win a free class! So get your thinking caps on!!
Leonie’s Book of Heritage – Duration 3 hours (1st Saturday of the month)
“Moments in Time” - This month join Leonie in her monthly class and she will help you create a beautiful double page layout. You will learn the tricks to creating your own “Book of Heritage”. Each month a new technique will be introduced. Come in and have a wander around to see some of Leonie’s layouts and other little projects she has worked on.
Saturday 6th June 1pm - $25 (3 spots left)
Leonie’s Sketch Club – Duration 3 hours
Leonie will show you how to interpret sketches to create your very own one of a kind layout. Starting from a basic sketch learn how to add different elements to create a masterpiece. You are able to use your own scrapbooking stash or purchase product from the shop. This is an ongoing class that will run bi-monthly.

The Cricut Club – “Tags, bags, boxes and more”
Jodie will demonstrate the versatility of the Cricut Machine by exploring a new cartridge each month. Come along and create lovely layouts, OTO and invites as well as learn some new handy hints. Don’t forget to bring your lunch or snack.

Grunge Girl – Duration 3 hours
Don’t know what to do with Grunge?! Have fun learning about the versatility of this fabulous product from Tim Holtz. You will create a fun, funky layout and get to play with some fun products!

The 4 Step ProgramThat you can tell everyone about!
This course is just a beginning, but what a way to start.
Please phone us for dates as they are run on demand.
If you book in for all 4 steps, at the same time, you will pay only $70. That’s a discount of $10.
Step 1 - Discover Scrapbooking. Duration – 2.5 hours
In this class you will learn how store and organise your photos, what the essential tools are, and the different themes you can scrap. By the end of the class you will have a single page layout and a greater Scrapbooking knowledge.
Step 2 - The Journey Begins. Duration - 2 hours
During this class you will be shown how to effectively use your trimmer, work with chipboard and create a single page layout using 2 patterned papers, brads and computer journaling. You will leave with a single page layout that you can show off with pride.
Step 3 - Map Your Page. Duration - 2 hours
On your single page layout you will work with sketches and page maps. You will also get to use the Big Shot, create pockets, journaling and eyelets.
Step 4 – An Adventure with Embellishments. Duration - 2 hours
The single page layout you create will include how to use rub ons, stamping, ribbons and transparencies!
We would appreciate if class participants could arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to ensure that classes can start on time, as there are some classes that require you to choose your materials. All class durations are an estimate only.
+All classes (excluding The 4 Step Program) and crops require you to bring along a Basic Tool Kit, which consists of a 12” trimmer, scissors, ruler, pencil, eraser, adhesive, pens, cutting mat. +

PicassoThe Scrap N Yap ZonePhone us on 9498 0097 to secure your seat. Remember we only have 15 spaces! A crop night is a great time for you and your friends to meet at the shop. You need to bring your own tools, supplies and projects to work on but....... the shop is open if you require anything during the evening. A light supper is provided, along with a door prize and demonstration on the night. You will have a whole table to yourself to work on. If you don’t know anybody, it is a great way to meet fantastic ladies who also scrapbook, card make, paper craft.

We have organised a weekly get together for all paper craft enthusiasts. We provide the venue and the use of our workshop machines. Come along, be creative, chat, make friends, and get out of the house! Tea and Coffee are available but you will need to BYO lunch.
*Cost $5.00. 15 places available.
Family Frenzy – (Last Sunday of the Month) 10am – 3pm
Come along to our monthly get together. It is a chance for you to spend quality time with your family completing your projects or albums. Bring your daughters, mothers, sons and even husbands to sit, scrap and relax. You can use our workshop machines, pick our brains (yuk) and have a good time.
*Cost $5.00 per person. 15 places left, bookings are essential.
Junior Scrap N Yaps –Tuesdays, 3.30pm – 5.00pm. (Weekly during the school term)
The idea of the Junior Scrap N Yaps is to give the kids a chance to meet others who like to scrapbook. There will be no formal teaching of techniques but the staff in the shop will supervise the kids and offer help and suggestions. Unfortunately we are unable to have children under the age of 8 unless an adult accompanies them. All the kids need to bring is a basic tool kit** and any project that they want to work on.
Cost $5.00. Bookings are essential.
ALWAYS OF SERVICE…
We have a variety of other services that we offer here at Scrap It - Flaunt It, they include:
LATE NIGHT SHOPPING. 6pm till 9pm, during Scrap N Yaps. Please come to the rear of the building. (THIS Saturday)
GIFT VOUCHERS – A gift voucher is always the perfect solution for any scrapbooker. This allows them to choose exactly what they like.
WISH LISTS – for those with family and friends who don’t know what to buy you! All you have to do is come into the shop and fill out your list, let them know to contact us and we will do the rest!!!
8 WEEK LAY BY – Available to all with only a 10% deposit followed by with regular payments.
CHILDRENS & ADULTS BIRTHDAY PARTIES – We work with you to plan a project for the attendees. We will supply the teacher, product, lollies on the tables as well as a small gift for the birthday child. You can bring along the party food or cake for after the lesson. Call the shop for more details.
