Class and crop schedule for April???
Leonie’s Book of Heritage Class 4th April (Saturday) 1-3pm - $25.00
Join Leonie in her intriguing heritage class where she introduces you to her inspiring style, each month a new technique is introduced and soon you will have learnt the tricks to creating your own “Book of Heritage”.
Daytime Scrap N Yap and Card Mania
8 April (Wednesday) 10am-2pm - $5.00
We have organised a weekly get together for all paper craft enthusiasts. We provide the venue and the use of our workshop machines. Come along, be creative, chat, make friends, and get out of the house! Tea and Coffee are available but you will need to BYO lunch.
Kids mini album class 14 April (Tuesday) 1pm-3pm - $15.00
For some great holiday fun why not drop the kids off to create thier own little mini album, Children have the choice of completing a boy or a girl album and are taught little tips and tricks which they can learn for future use.

We all enjoy time out to scrapbook so why not treat the kids to some too?? Kids bring their scrap supplies and work at their own pace on their own projects

Send the kids along to a class to create an off the page project. At this class kids create a funky spinner to go on their door. Your child can turn the spinner to reveal what they are/nt doing in their room :0)

Jodie will demonstrate the versatility of the Cricut Machine by exploring a new cartridge each month. Come along and create lovely layouts, OTP's and invites as well as learn some new handy hints. Don’t forget to bring your lunch or snack.

Send the kids along to create three cute cards for upcoming events, this class is bound to get their creative juices flowing and may just be the answer to keeping on top of having cards for all those birthdays that crop up through out the year!!!

Hello Fellow Flaunters!
It has been a very busy week here at the shop; Jodie, Lysandra and Maureen have been making plans for the future, including planning our next retreat. We hit a minor glitch... the weekend we had hoped to go away on turns out to be the AFL Grand Final weekend! How inconsiderate of the AFL to do that to us. So we are busy sorting out a new date, so stay tuned. Maureen, Little Jodi and Tara attended a trade night for Collections and naughty Maureen has ordered lots of new product from them. The make and takes from the night are on display in the shop to inspire you. Look out for some great classes coming up.

Bo Bunny Bug Me Out Class
The 4 Step Program
That you can tell everyone about!
This course is just a beginning, but what a way to start.
Please phone us for dates as they are run on demand.
If you book in for all 4 steps, at the same time, you will pay only $70. That’s a discount of $10.
Step 1 - Discover Scrapbooking. Duration – 2.5 hours
In this class you will learn how store and organise your photos, what the essential tools are, and the different themes you can scrap. By the end of the class you will have a single page layout and a greater Scrapbooking knowledge.
Step 2 - The Journey Begins. Duration - 2 hours
During this class you will be shown how to effectively use your trimmer, work with chipboard and create a single page layout using 2 patterned papers, brads and computer journaling. You will leave with a single page layout that you can show off with pride.
Step 3 - Map Your Page. Duration - 2 hours
On your single page layout you will work with sketches and page maps. You will also get to use the Big Shot, create pockets, journaling and eyelets.
Step 4 – An Adventure with Embellishments. Duration - 2 hours
The single page layout you create will include how to use rub ons, stamping, ribbons and transparencies!
We would appreciate if class participants could arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to ensure that classes can start on time, as there are some classes that require you to choose your materials. All class durations are an estimate only.
+All classes (excluding The 4 Step Program) and crops require you to bring along a Basic Tool Kit, which consists of a 12” trimmer, scissors, ruler, pencil, eraser, adhesive, pens, cutting mat. +
The Scrap N Yap Zone
Phone us on 9498 0097 to secure your seat. Remember we only have 15 spaces! A crop night is a great time for you and your friends to meet at the shop. You need to bring your own tools, supplies and projects to work on but....... the shop is open if you require anything during the evening. A light supper is provided, along with a door prize and demonstration on the night. You will have a whole table to yourself to work on. If you don’t know anybody, it is a great way to meet fantastic ladies who also scrapbook, card make, paper craft.

Family Frenzy – (Last Sunday of the Month) 10am – 3pm
Come along to our monthly get together. It is a chance for you to spend quality time with your family completing your projects or albums. Bring your daughters, mothers, sons and even husbands to sit, scrap and relax. You can use our workshop machines, pick our brains (yuk) and have a good time.
*Cost $5.00 per person. 15 places left, bookings are essential.
Junior Scrap N Yaps –Tuesdays, 3.30pm – 5.00pm. (Weekly during the school term)
The idea of the Junior Scrap N Yaps is to give the kids a chance to meet others who like to scrapbook. There will be no formal teaching of techniques but the staff in the shop will supervise the kids and offer help and suggestions. Unfortunately we are unable to have children under the age of 8 unless an adult accompanies them. All the kids need to bring is a basic tool kit** and any project that they want to work on.
Cost $5.00. Bookings are essential.

Long time no Post!
Hi everyone,
I know it has been a while since we last posted! (Jodi, we saw your comment!) Lets just say that lots has been happening here at the shop, most importantly being that we celebrated our first birthday! That's right, we survived the perilous first 12 months and are still standing and smiling.
Last weekend we had a 20% off store wide sale and then on Sunday we officially celebrated this momentous occasion with demonstrations of the Cougar, Bigshot, Cricut and Slice machines. We also had a lovely birthday cake from the Cheesecake Shop and lots of happy tears and laughter with our lovely customers.
We will posting some photos from the day soon.
We have a lot of great classes coming up and they are popular so please check them out and get your name down asap.

Well finally I have done it!! I have completed the first challenge that was put out to you all. Have you done your "Goals for 09" page yet. If so email us a copy to scrapitflauntit@bigpond.com.au and we will add it to the blog.
My Goals for '09 are: Lose 15 kg's, Complete one page a week, Be more patient with my kids, Go to SA for a holiday, Pay off my credit cards, Fix up my house, Have more family time, Keep a more organised house and lastly, Look after myself better. 9 goals for '09.
I had lots of ideas for this page and finally at 1.00am in the morning it all became reality. (OK so I finished at 3.30am but hubby doesn't need to know that!!)
I am happy with my layout and challenged myself even more by having no photo and using the new "Bazzill Stitch Guide Rulers". I love this stitching guide. There are so many options and you can use a bit of the design or the whole design. A definate for your scrap tools. Leave some comments and let me know what you think.I am now working to the next challenge of completing a page a week this year. I am only four pages behind so I better get myself organised and get going. Who is going to do this challenge with me?
Tonight we are holding a Scrap N Yap crop night and the ladies are all happily scrapping away.
We have a wonderful group of ladies who attend.
Crop nights are held on Saturday night and are a great time to get together and have time to scrap without any interruptions. Just $10 for six hours of crop time (scrapbooking time) with supper, tea and coffee included, plus a door prize, what else could you ask for. We have spaces for 15 people, which allows you a full table to yourself!! You need to reserve your spot on 9498 0097.
Better go and get the supper ready for the ladies, have a lovely Australia Day Weekend and see you in the shop soon.
